ATA and VTA Commend Virginia Governor for reopening Rest Areas

The American Trucking Associations (ATA) and the Virginia Trucking Association (VTA) commend Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell’s leading of the Commonwealth Transportation Board to begin reopening 19 safety rest areas and welcome centers.

NRDC Attack on City of Long Beach is Baseless and Inaccurate

Arlington, Va. – Today the NRDC announced it was filing suit against the City of Long Beach to overturn a settlement with the ATA that ended litigation over the Port of Long Beach truck concession plan.
Long Beach settled the lawsuit after the U.S. District Court of Appeals declared the concession plan illegal.
